PhD Research Scholars, Suresh Shanmughan, Amulya Sai and Research Assistant Jharna Brahma (with Prof. Vinod Pavarala) will be visiting the 2016 conference of the International Association for Media and Communication Research – IAMCR at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom to present their research work from 27 – 31 of July 2016.

Amulya will be presenting – Keeping and Contesting faith: the liberating ambiguities of online feminist conversations about religion by Usha Raman & Amulya Sai Komarraju

Jharna Brahma will be presenting – 1) C4D and development indicators and the implications of the SDGs by Jessica Noske-Turner, Anita Gurumurthy, Jharna Brahma, Patricia Portela Souza
2) Insights from scoping research: Understanding the Nadia success story by Tripta Chandola, Jo Tacchi, Vinod Pavarala, Jharna Brahma

Suresh will be presenting his work on the policy of the state in using communication for planning healthcare programmes.
